We want to wish everyone a blessed and Happy Khmer, Loas, and Thai New Year! We also apologize to all our supporters who’s been waiting for new material, we promise…its coming! We’ve taken the last year off from music to organize and build One Love Movement, which has been a uphill challenge. Through our voices and hard work, we will continue to spread the awareness of the everyday injustices happening in our communities. See some of the work we’ve been doing by jumping over to onelovemovement.com. For now, here’s a track we did with Cambodia’s own DJ Kdep (Check out Sexy” by Khmer Rap Boyz) when he visited us in Philly on his TinyToones Cambodia North American Tour. Soursdey Chnam Thmey!

Okay, so here’s a video mashup of some extra footage we shot while in Cambodia. In the beginning, you’ll see us at Hush, a new club that just opened a few months ago in Phnom Penh. They called it the “rich kids” club, I guess where all the ballers and elite go. After throwing back the native Angkor Beer all day, couldn’t help resist the $3 Heineken. Ballin’!
We later visit Klap Ya Handz studio where we met up with Cream and the crew to record a quick track with emcees from Tiny Toones and KYH. Nice touch with the wall to wall camo print! Look out for the video coming soon.
And yes, Angels Club. Ginormous dancefloor, upper balcony/vip section, Johnny Walker and Hennessy pouring everywhere, we really felt like we were home. None of us had slept for nearly 48 hours, and still feeling extremely jet-lagged, we still managed to do an impromptu freestyle with Touch saving the day on the drums.
Check out part 2 of the video below of Tiny Toones shutting it down and bringing down the house with their crazy energy. Seemed like we were right in the middle of a Step Up movie scene!
Behind the scenes sneak peek of Tiny Toones and Klap Ya Handz featuring AZI music video shot at Paddy’s Gym in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Photos courtesy of big homie Rattanak a.k.a Tram Greenfirefly. Click on thumbnail for larger view.
During our short visit to the homeland, we got the chance to check out the new Tiny Toones center and hang out with the kids. In this brief video, you’ll see some of the younger kids practicing their ground moves as well as a sneak peek of the set used to shoot the exclusive AZI x TinyToones x Klap Ya Handz video. That’s right, in the gym with none other than champion kickboxer of Cambodia, Eh Phutong. Cream (director/producer for KYH) is cooking it up now so look out for that track/video to come out soon. We still have a ton of footage of our journey to put together, including an impromptu performance by AZI and Tiny Toones where we caught up with DJ Kdep. Much more to come…
The AZI will give you a little look at the crazy traffic in Cambodia, these guys are not playing. Man do they love their bikes, or moto should I say, and they come at you in all directions they dont care who’s in the way. So you better grab your helmet cause in these streets there’s no such thing as insurance, drive at your own risk.
Touch and Ray goofing around, showing you around our new purchased home in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Its not much but we try to do what we can with our budget you know times is hard, yes even harder in Cambodia. Besides being starving musicians, we are also part time real estate investors and we put it to good use so enjoy the video and follow up on the blogs.
